The House of Marketing organized its 6th quest for the Marketing Genius of the year. During this challenge, young Belgian marketers are empowered to voice their creative marketing ideas. Godiva, newsmonkey, Devos&Lemmens, Desperados, Vacature.com, ProNails and PUB challenged the participants to come up with a genius opinion about one of their burning marketing challenges.
The House of Marketing’s jury of experts nominated five finalists based on four criteria: knowledge about the topic, creativity, logical structure and readability. Then the finalists started an online voting campaign. However, the battle had only begun.
The five finalists, Bryan Van Hauwaert, Sofie Huyskens, Simon Ampe, Thibault Duspeaux and Julien Foucart, were invited to pitch their genius idea at the Marketing Genius final event in Antwerp on April 24th. They collected the remaining votes, given by a jury of marketing experts and the event’s audience.
The House of Marketing can proudly announce that Thibault Duspeaux has won the prestigious title of Marketing Genius 2017 along with an incredible prize package thanks to our genius partners. However, the adventure does not end here for Thibault. He will shine on stage at the 29th Vlerick Marketing Colloquium where he will present his genius idea for Desperados to the Belgian marketing community.
